Opened in 2003 and operating as Prince Refrigeration & Air Supply until 2018, the business is now owned and run by local couple Brett and Vicki Smith.

Brett has over 20 years’ experience in the air conditioning and refrigeration trade as a qualified refrigeration mechanic and restricted electrical fitter. Brett completed his trade in Brisbane and worked extensively on commercial and industrial plant and equipment for 15 years before moving to Mackay in 2012. Since then, Brett has grown his knowledge of the local market and intricately understands the demands on HVAC gear in this part of Australia.

The hands-on experience, knowledge and skills Brett has acquired throughout his career are invaluable to the customers and clients of CoolChain Mackay and he is always more than happy to help solve a problem, no matter how big or small.
